Tommy LeFan, Preaching Minister

Tommy was born and raised in the Metroplex city of Garland. He has earned a bachelor's degree in Bible and a master’s degree in Religious Education, both from Abilene Christian University. In 1989 Tommy began working as the youth minister at the Buckingham Road church of Christ, his home congregation. In December of 1995, Tommy and his family moved to the Hill Country as he began his ministry with the Fredericksburg Church of Christ. Both his father Mac and his uncle James were long-time preachers and church leaders.

Tommy is married to Christy (who serves as the church office manager). They have two adult children, Courtney and Cameron.

Tommy loves supporting Battlin’ Billies athletics! He enjoys playing in the Texas Hill Country Senior Softball League and he wishes he had more time for golf and varmint hunting. He’s a connoisseur of Central Texas barbeque.

Tommy has made a dozen short-term mission trips to Africa (Ghana, Cameroon, and Namibia) and one medical mission trip to Guatemala.

Tommy is excited about what God is doing through the Fredericksburg church to impact not only the local community, but people around the globe.

Levi Sisemore, Worship/Involvement Minister

To God be the glory, great things He has done!

A Texas native, Levi was born in Lubbock, but his missionary father took the family across the globe in gospel ministry. The first half of his youth was spent growing up in sunny, tropical Hawaii; when he was 11 the family moved to Barnaul, Russia - literally the middle of Siberia!

Levi's own call to ministry began by working with teenagers/youth which he did in Russia, California, and Idaho before moving back to Lubbock to study at the Sunset International Bible Institute. Most Sundays during school, Levi would be found preaching for the Church of Christ in rural Whiteface, Texas and directing a college ministry outreach in Levelland, Texas. After graduation and marriage to his best friend, Sara, the Sisemores moved to Floydada, Texas to work alongside the City Park Church of Christ in the heart of cotton country. Seven years (and two children!) later they accepted an invitation to work with the 37th Street Church of Christ in the oilfield town of Snyder, Texas. Levi and his family moved to Fredericksburg in 2018 and they're learning to love life in the Hill Country!

Levi is a graduate of SIBI (Bachelor of Biblical Studies and Master of Biblical Studies), the Sunset School of Missions, and the Texas Normal Singing School. He has completed additional graduate work in theology through NationsUniversity and is presently enrolled in the Doctor of Worship Studies program at the Institute for Worship Studies.

In addition to his work with local congregations, Levi has been involved in several other ministries and opportunities. He was a Bible teacher to junior high students at White River Youth Camp, while also serving on the Board of Directors (2007-2017). For a time, he was the Advertising Director for the Floyd County Hesperian-Beacon newspaper and he loves to learn more about digital and print design. He continues to be an instructor at the Texas Normal Singing School, where he has taught various courses since 2005. Levi has preached, taught, or led worship at more than 70 congregations in 12 different states. He conducts Congregational Singing Workshops and has spoken on lectureships and regional programs on congregational ministry, leadership development, worship renewal, and leading worship.
