We believe our responsibility to support gospel work and workers include serving our own local area of Fredericksburg and Gillespie County, but also includes the support of those who go in a pioneering way as missionaries. Additionally, we believe that we should “do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:10), so we support the work of the Medina Children’s Home (Arms of Hope) and the Cherokee Home for Children as they work with orphans, families in crisis and in need.

Gerald Paden, a missionary and missionary trainer, was known to say "some go by going, some go by sending." The Fredericksburg church has been blessed by senders and "go-ers."
